This is a 2022 AVP Hermosa Beach Wild Card bid event. It is part 2 of a 3-tournament series in which each team will compete against the best of the best to earn a spot in the AVP Hermosa Beach Open Main Draw.
The tournament format is standard pool play seeded by CBVA ratings and points. The top 2 teams advance to bracketed, single-elimination playoffs based on original tournament seeding. Playoffs are 1 game to 28 points with no cap.
