Check-in opens at 8:00AM & closes at 8:45AM Team warm-ups start at 8:45AM - 8:55AM Competition begins at 9:00AM REGISTRATION: Each player must be a CBVA/AVP member to play in this tournament. You will receive a confirmation email after properly registering. TOURNAMENT FORMAT - POOL PLAY: Pools are seeded according to current CBVA rankings and points of teams entered in the division. The number of teams in each pool is determined by the number of overall team entries. 4 team pools play 1 game to 28, win by 2. 5 team pools play 1 game to 21, win by 2. All matches will be played with an Official Wilson Beach Game Ball. Please bring your own Wilson v-balls if you would like more v-balls to compete with, as the TD will provide only 2 OPTYX GAME BALLS PER COURT. PLAY-OFF PROCEDURES: The top 2 teams from each pool advance to the playoffs. TD may determine to take more than 2 teams out of pool. Advancing teams are determined by: Win - Loss Record Head - To - Head Point Differential only among the teams that are tied....( + / - ) Teams will advance to: Bracketed Single elimination play-off. 1 Game to 28 , win by 2 , no cap *Bracket is based on original seeding from pools. PRIZES Prizes awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners. AVP points are earned by all participants.
