CAL CUP CHAMPIONSHIP IS BY INVITATION ONLY. Contact the CBVA Ofiice for ALL qualification and registration questions and information. email: info@cbva.com TOURNAMENT TIMES: Check-in opens at 7:45AM and closes at 8:40AM. Teams MUST be checked in during this time only. Teams cannot be late. If a team is not checked in by 8:40am, they will be disqualified from the tournament. 8:40am - Division Team Photo 8:50am - Official 10 minute warmup 9:00am - Competition begins. TOURNAMENT FORMAT - POOL PLAY: Pools are seeded according to current CBVA ratings and Junior points of teams entered in the division. Boys Divisions - 4 team pools play 1 game to 28, win by 2. Girls Divisions - 5 team pools play 1 game to 21, win by 2. All games will be played with an Official Wilson Beach Game Ball. Please bring your own Wilson v-balls if you would like more v-balls to compete with. The Tournament will provide 2 OPTYX GAME BALLS PER COURT. PLAY-OFF PROCEDURES: The top 2 teams from each pool advance to CAL CUP CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFF. Advancing teams are determined by: Win - Loss Record Head - To - Head, Point Differential only among the teams that are tied....( + / - ) Teams will advance to: Bracketed Single elimination play-off. 1 Game to 28 , win by 2 , no cap *Bracket is based on original seeding from pools. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. *NOTE: There will be a playoff game for one 3rd place finish. Remaining teams from pools advance to CONSOLATION bracket, SINGLE ELIMINATION playoff. 1 game to 28, win by 2, no cap.
