No shows or players arriving after this will be forfeited without refund.If I receive a call/text in advance of late arrival with legit excuse, I will TRY to make scheduling adjustments. Nothing is guaranteed. REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEE Each player must be a CBVA member to play in the tournament. CBVA membership is $35 for the entire season. The Tournament entry fee is $65 per team. Online registration closes at 5PM the day before the event. Phone calls or walk up might be taken only if we need to fill out a pool. *You will get a confirmation via email after properly registering. REFUND POLICY The Refund Deadline for all locations except Santa Cruz will be at 12PM on the day before each event to allow time for players to register for any newly open spots and to fill a spot from the Waitlist. FORMAT - POOL PLAY Pools are seeded according to current CBVA JUNIOR rankings & avp points of teams entered in the division. The number of teams in each pool is determined by the number of overall team entries. 3 team pools play one match – 2 out of 3 sets to 21 / 3rd set if necessary to 15 pts (3rd set switch every 5 points) 4 team pools play 1 game to 28, win by 2, no cap, switch sides every 7 points 5 team pools play 1 game to 21, win by 2, no cap, switch sides every 7 points All matches will be played with an Official Wilson Beach Game Ball ONLY! PLAY-OFF PROCEDURES The top 2 teams from each pool advance to the playoffs. Tourney Director may determine to take more than 2 teams out of pool. Advancing teams are determined by: Win - Loss Record Head - To - Head Point Differential used when 3 or more teams are tied....( + / - ) After initial tie is broken, go back to head-to-head if remaining teams are still tied. Point differential among all teams in the pool. Coin toss Teams will advance to: Single elimination Bracket play-off. 1 Game to 21or 28 determined by Director , win by 2 , no cap *Bracket is based on original seeding from pools. LOSERS ALWAYS REF THE NEXT MATCH! Check in with the Director after a loss to make sure you are finished for the day! PRIZES Medals awarded to the 1st (Gold), 2nd (Silver) & (2) 3rd (Bronze) place winners. Check each event for special sponsor prizes awarded!
